Hello my name is Dale Willie, I'm 63 years old and in the best shape of my life! You might ask how can this be?! Most 63 year olds have a hard time touching their toes, let alone running 5 miles! I attribute my success to the food I eat and how I eat. I'm not lazy and work hard. I look in the mirror and tell myself everyday: "You're awesome!" That may sound egotistical, but the truth is you need to love yourself because when the going gets tough it boils down to you to figure things out! I developed this site to help ANYONE who wants better health using food and the environment around you. Anyone can achieve success! I believe in you--even if you don't right now. Come workout with me, eat with me. Let me show you how I do things and then you can decide to join me or not in this quest to help people, communities, cities, States and Nations learn to eat and be healthier.
My Story
I thought I was in good shape about a year ago. I was 62 years of age, had a little belly on me, but I could still run couple miles a couple times a week and do 30-50 pushups a couple times a week. But I noticed my recovery was not very good and I would get short of breath when I sprinted. Aches and pains were always present, and I noticed my hands would swell a little in hot weather, especially when I was hiking in the heat.
I figured all this was what happens when you get old. Everything changed when my wife turned on an audio book about eating healthy (evidently, I must not have been). I've known for most of my life that many foods our food industry was convincing us to shove down our throats was not good for you. Such as soda pop, processed sugars, dyes & preservatives. What I didn't realize was the high % of our food that has really bad stuff in it that our bodies do not recognize, much of these additives is straight up poison! Such as seed oils, dyes, pesticide laden grains and foods and what it does to the inside of our bodies. When I changed what and how I ate, within 3 months I lost 2 belt loop sizes! My recovery time in my workouts was reduced from days of recovery to hours of recovery. The other day, in the heat I ran in cowboy boots, Levi's and shirt over a mile and my recovery time was within minutes. Now for my story: I was born in Malad, Idaho in 1962--I'm old. My parents were poor, and our first house was a pink log cabin my mother had picked out on a road named Buckskin. At the time it was a dirt/gravel road where deer, racoons, skunks, badgers, bob cats, coyotes and even mountain lions would occasionally visit us. I was loved by my parents and within 2 years of moving into the 1 bedroom, 1 bath pink log cabin my folks had another child my younger brother (he's passed now--December 25, 2018) from cancer. My father passed away in October 2007 from unknown cancer/diseases. My mother passed away in 2024 from rectal cancer. My entire family is now gone and I'm the only one left. That got me to thinking, maybe something is causing all of this--it doesn't seem normal. Once I heard this eat healthy audio on 'Good Energy' I knew much of what I was looking for was right there. Transitioning my eating habits to organic and eating only twice a day and instituting autophagy into my weekly and monthly routine started me on a path that I'll never turn away from. The first month I didn't really feel anything, other than my pants started getting a little looser. The second month I noticed I lost 1 belt loop size and I felt great! The 3rd month I was down 2 belt loop sizes, and I had tons of energy! Plus, now my hands don't swell in the heat, and my aches and pains have nearly gone away! I believe in what I am doing to such a degree that I want to share my knowledge with others and help them experience the great success I am experiencing. The first thing I will tell you, if you have any sweet cravings like I still do, this is a hard habit to break.
